Post Six: Postgraduate studies.

In my particular case, I feel the need to take a postgraduate course, basically because if in my discipline if you do not have graduate studies, you do not have a job, and If you want to be teacher in FAU, you must have PhD. My hatred for the university is so big that I would like to stay as a teacher to help the new generations not to suffer as much as I did. I know I was a terrible student, but I intend to give a good practice and thesis and be a good professional because I really like my career, and I would like to form new geographers to the world.

I would study about ecology and environment issues, I don't know exactly what, but that's the line, specially political ecology. I'd like to study in Brazil or Mexico, because the best Geography schools are there, but the outlook is uncertain because my grades are terrible and not enough to apply for a funding grant. That is so sad, I had to worry about my notes at the precise moment, I should have tried harder to get good grades, but on the way there were several unforeseen events that made it difficult for me.

I'd like to study in a part-time course, so i can travel and know the country, know new cultures from first source, visit places that I have always seen through images and that I always had the desire to meet in person.

In short, for my academic future I hope to become a great teacher and teach future generations of geographers the values that this world needs from professionals like us.
